Priyanka Chopra’s American series Quantico seems to have run its course. Priyanka plays the role of FBI agent, Alex Parrish, in the series. The American Television network ABC has cancelled producing further seasons.

The third season started airing from April 26 and it has 13 episodes. Season 1 and 2 had 22 episodes, each. The show will be telecasted till mid-July.
According to a newspaper, Deadline, in 2015 the show had a massive hit, but the ratings dropped drastically in Season 2 and the Season 3 is on a decline still. Besides Priyanka’s Quantico, Kal Penn’s show Designated Survivor has also been cancelled.

Apart from Quantico and Designated Survivor, ABC has also cancelled Zach Braff’s comedy series Alex, Inc, The Crossing, an acclaimed allegorical sci-fi drama series that only aired six episodes, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, and The Mayor.

Priyanka has two others Hollywood projects in her kitty – A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic? She made her Hollywood debut as a villain in Dwayne Johnson’s Baywatch that failed to work at the box office.
Priyanka will also be making her comeback to Bollywood in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat alongside Salman Khan, which is scheduled to be released on Eid 2019.
