The Conclusionhad been one of the most talked about films since its trailer release. The question in everybody’s mind was why did the most loyal soldier Kattappa (Satyaraj) kill Baahubali (Prabhas)?
Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion is a 2017 historical fiction continuation of the first part Baahubali – The beginning film written by K V Vijendra Prasad and cowritten and directed by S S Rajamouli. It is the highest grossing film of the year. It was produced byTollywood studio Arka Media Works and was originally made in Telugu, Tamil languages and was dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, German, French, Japanese and English.
The film stars major actors from Tollywood industry with Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Duggubati, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles who have played their roles exceptionally well. Prabash and Rana Daggubari have delivered stupendous performances.
Anushka Shetty, who did have have much to render in the first piece, got more screen space to share in this. It is the battle between the two that keeps the audience at the edge-of-the-seat. The storyline which continues from the first part makes quite an improvement towards the end. Keeravani’s music composition is simply extraordinary and mind blowing to hear.
Set in the imaginary Mahishmati, a land where law prevents above all the rule of Baahubali and his son is threatened by his own kin Bhallaladeva; is a story interesting enough to grab the interest of its audience. The extraordinary and spellbinding visuals by supervisor R C Kamalakannan are commendable. A 250 crore film theatrically released in 9000 screens worldwide collected a total amount of approx 800 crore within just six days of its release.
Though for some it is overly dramatic yet the common masses are fascinated with the film. Amidst humdrum of life, people often prefer to go for a commercial film more than off-beat ones and Baahubali 2 with all its grandeur and craze gave the people a chance to escape to the land of Mahishmati.
It is indeed noteworthy to say that the amount of money invested by the producer was well utilised. The exceptional performance of the actors is also something to be admired as each and every detail was taken care of. In short it is worth a watch.
