Soorma, a biopic of hockey player Sandeep Singh, is going steady at the box office collections. Soorma starring Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi, which is helmed by Shaad Ali, remains rock steady at the box office with a total collection of Rs 17.84 crore.
Based on the life of hockey player Sandeep Singh, Soorma is garnering immense love and appreciation from the audience and critics alike. The film collected 1.94 crores on Tuesday which is 3% less than Monday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared on his social media handles, “#Soorma is ROCK-STEADY… Fri 3.20 cr, Sat 5.05 cr, Sun 5.60 cr, Mon 2 cr, Tue 1.94 cr. Total: ₹ 17.79 cr. India biz.”

The inspirational film has got a ‘U’ certificate and has been cleared by the Pakistani and Kuwait censor boards, too.

It is a lesser known fact that Sandeep Singh has been hailed as one of the world’s most dangerous drag-flickers of all time with drag speeds of over 145 km/hr which earned him the sobriquet of Flicker Singh.
The film is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Chitrangda Singh, and Deepak Singh. The film was released on 13 July 2018 and is running with a positive word of mouth at the box office.
