Grandnephew of filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak, Parambrata Chattopadhyay made his debut as a director with Jiyo Kaka and later went on to establish himself as a known actor in the Bengali film industry. Chattopadhyay rose to nationwide recognition by starring alongside Vidya Balan in Kahaani (2012) as fearless bengali cop. As an actor Chattopadhyay is one of the most popular actors there and has done more than 30 Bengali films.
Saswata Chatterjee
Saswata Chatterjee is an Indian actor, who predominantly works in the Bengali film industry and has done more than 35 films in his career so far. He started his career with Bengali television shows and later shifted his focus to films after getting appreciated for his performances. Chatterjee is regarded as one of the most critically acclaimed actors and has a huge fan base in Bengal. Apparently, he also made his Bollywood debut alongside Parambrata in Kahaani and his character of serial killer, Bob, was widely appreciated by fans and critics. His other notable appearances in films include Tiyasha, C/O, Sir, Proloy and Eagoler Chokh.
Jeet
Jeet is an Indian film actor, producer and television presenter who works predominantly in Bengali cinema. After a not so impressive debut, Jeet’s first success came in 2002, opposite Priyanka Tridevi through Sathi. For Sathi Jeet won numerous awards and honours. The actor followed his commercially successful film streak with Nater Guru, Jor, Wanted, Dui Prithibi and Boss: Born To Rule (one of the highest grossing Bengali films). Prosenjit Chatterjee
Prosenjit Chatterjee is an Indian film actor and producer, son of actor Biswajit Chatterjee. Prosenjit is one of the most popular actors of Bengali cinema. He began his career as a child artiste in Chotto Jigyasa and followed it with his breakthrough role in Vijeta Pandit’s Amar Sangi, a highly succesful romantic drama. Apparently, Prosenjit is one of the most awarded actors of all time mainly winning in the best actor category. The actor is one of few Bengali actors who have successfully ventured into a variety of genres ranging from action, comedy, romance and drama.
