Director Ali Abbas Zafar has managed to finalise the cast at last for his next film Bharat. The movie stars Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The latest addition to the cast is Baaghi 2 actress Disha Patani.
The film is a remake of South Korean movie Ode to my Father. Priyanka Chopra has signed the film which will be marked her return to Bollywood after two years.

According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, Disha Patani will essay the role of a trapeze artiste of the 1960s circus. The circus segment in the film is Ali Abbas Zafar’s ode to Bollywood showman Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker.

Disha has already been trained in martial arts and now will learn the ropes of the circus and she is quite excited to be a part of the film.

Earlier, in an interview to DNA, Ali Abbas Zafar had said, “Salman will sport five different looks in Bharat, which begins with him witnessing one of the most dramatic chapters of our history — the Partition. It’s an Indian adaptation of the Korean movie, Ode to My Father and will be a commercial film with a mix of action, drama and music.”
The film will go on floors in July and will be released on Eid 2019.
