Kevin Spacey has been accused of making a pass at the Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp. The 58-year-old actor has finally opened about his personal life and has openly accepted that he is gay.
Although, he can’t recall the encounter with Rapp, which was over 30 years ago; Spacey in his post wrote that he has had relationship with both men and women. However, he also mentioned that he now chooses to live as a gay man.
The Horrible Bosses actor took to Twitter to write a post on his sexuality. He wrote, “I had a lot of respect and admiration for Anthony Rapp as an actor. I’m beyond horrified to hear his story. I honestly do not remember the encounter; it would have been over 30 years ago. But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour, and I’m sorry for the feelings he described having carried with him all these years.”
“This story has encouraged me to describe other things about my life. I know that there are stories out there about me and that some have been fueled by the fact that I have been so protective of my privacy. As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man. I want to deal with this honestly and openly and that starts with examining my own behaviour,” he added.

The allegations were made on Spacey by Rapp, after the latest wave of sexual allegations on Harvey Weinstein.
Rapp in a statement to a leading international daily said, Spacey had invited him over to his apartment for a party where he lifted the latter up and placed him on his bed. As Spacey climbed on top of Rapp, the latter pushed him aside and locked himself inside a washroom.
