BTS’ Jin to make his anticipated solo comeback in November

Since BTS’ Jin completed his mandatory military service, the ARMY (the BTS fandom) has been eagerly anticipating news of his solo comeback. Finally, fans’ apprehensions have been put to rest as Jin gears up to re-enter the music scene in November with his solo album.

On October 24, news surfaced that BTS’ oldest member, Jin is prepping for his solo K-pop comeback. Following the news, BTS’ label BigHit Music released an official statement. Confirming the news, the label announced, “Jin is currently preparing for a new album with the goal of releasing it in November. The detailed information will be disclosed once it is confirmed.”

Meanwhile, last month, Jin hosted a live session on Weverse, where he opened up about his album. He said, “What would all of you guys be curious about? My album work? It’s been a while since I finished recording…The mix and masters for songs finished a few weeks ago, too… I would be thankful if you could please wait a little bit. I could play it now, but it would be nicer if you could wait until the album, right? Should I play it now? The company would get mad. But the songs are good, so I listen to it from time to time.”

Jin completed his military service in June 2024, while the rest of the members are still fulfilling their service. Since his discharge from the military, Jin has been taking up various activities. The K-pop sensation finished filming for the Netflix series “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” which will release next year. Moreover, Jin’s special single “Super Tuna,” which dropped on October 11, ranked No. 1 on Japan’s Oricon daily digital singles chart. Jin has also released the ‘BTS Run’ spin-off titled ‘Run Jin,’ which is his solo entertainment show. Moreover, the K-pop idol was also South Korea’s torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

BTS Jin made his solo debut in October 2022, with the track ‘Astronaut.’ The track released before Jin went on to complete his mandatory military duty. Jin created ‘Astronaut’ in collaboration with the globally celebrated band Coldplay.
