Actor Vikas Verma is happy about getting a role in Varun Dhawan-starrer "Judwaa 2", and says it is a dream-come-true moment for him.

"It would be anyone's dream to be associated with 'Judwaa 2' and I am glad mine came true," Vikas said in a statement.

It also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. The film is being directed by David Dhawan and is a sequel to the filmmaker's 1997 film "Judwaa" starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.

Vikas made his Bollywood acting debut with a negative role in "Yaariyan".

Talking about the process of how he got the role, Vikas said: "I got a call from the casting agency asking if I would like to come for an audition for ‘Judwaa 2'. I was more than happy to do so. They didn't tell me then that David sir referred me for the role. I auditioned, got selected and when I went on the sets then I got to know the whole story.

"I am happy that I grabbed this great opportunity to work with this ace director at the start of my career."

According to sources close to the actor, David suggested Vikas after seeing him in an advertisement with superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Currently, Vikas is elated over the response his film "Mom", which also features Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is getting.
