Sanjay Leela Bhansali, currently immersed in the post-production of his upcoming web series ‘Heeramandi’, is poised to unveil his next grand project in March.
With developments quietly progressing, SLB is steadfast in initiating a new cinematic venture for the silver screen in 2024.

A source close to the film’s team disclosed, “SLB is aiming to announce the film in March 2024 without much delay.”
Regarding ‘Heeramandi’, featuring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in lead roles, the series delves into the tales of courtesans and the concealed cultural realities of Heeramandi, a dazzling district, during pre-independent India. Essentially, it is a narrative encompassing love, betrayal, succession, and politics in the kothas, promising SLB’s trademark larger-than-life sets, multifaceted characters, and soulful compositions.

The series will premiere exclusively on the OTT platform Netflix.
The director, renowned for blockbuster films like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,’ ‘Black,’ ‘Ram-Leela,’ ‘Bajirao Mastani,’ ‘Padmaavat,’ ‘Devdas,’ ‘Saawariya,’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi,’ continues to make waves in the cinematic world. (ANI)
