Kapoor expressed that she has always been “a little conscious” of her words and actions, grappling with the belief that there are more significant challenges faced by others. This consciousness, she confessed, led her to downplay her own experiences, thinking, “It doesn’t really matter. Look at what people actually go through.”

Janhvi Kapoor, reflecting on her life, admitted to often dismissing her own struggles and feelings, fearing that she might appear daunting if she spoke up. She revealed a personal struggle with self-expression, stating that she was unaware of her right to speak against deepfakes or altered images. “I didn’t even know that I had the right to speak about deepfakes or altered images. I didn’t know I could say anything, I applaud Rashmika for standing up,” she said.
Recalling an unsettling episode from her teenage years, Kapoor disclosed encountering morphed images of herself at the age of 15. Initially, she thought it was an inevitable aspect of being a public figure and hesitated to voice her concerns. She feared that people might call it attention seeking. Over time, she has learned to embrace her background and acknowledge the privileges she has had compared to many others.
Despite grappling with self-doubt and a tendency to downplay her experiences, Kapoor stressed that she now understands the importance of utilizing the opportunities she has. She sees it as a responsibility towards her late mother, the iconic Sridevi, to make the best of the chances she has in the industry.
