Lucknow Central is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
As it is inching closer to its release the audience is getting more eager to witness Farhan Akhtar’s power packed performance in the film.
Farhan plays the role of Kishen Mohan Girhotra a prisoner in the film, as soon as the trailer of the film was out everyone was praising Farhan for his portrayal of Kishan.
The talented actor has beautifully enacted the traits of his character, right from learning the dialect of UP to imbibing the nuances of how a guy from UP would behave.
This is also the first time Farhan is playing the role of a UP guy and will be seen in a non-urban avatar.
We can definitely say that Farhan has played his part well, recently the actor had held a special screening of the film for his friends from Industry and closed ones.
Everyone was full of praise for Farhan’s performance and other members of the cast for delivering power-packed performances in the film.
On being asked about his character from the film, Farhan shared,”The character Kishen Mohan Girhotra dreams to be a music director in Bhojpuri films but due to the circumstances around him he lands in jail but he doesn’t lose hope and fulfills his dream in an unusual manner in the jail, that’s the story of the film. When I heard the story I felt that we all have certain hopes and desires in different fields possibly, but sometimes there are situations where we can’t fulfill our dreams in the manner we imagined but that doesn’t mean we lose hope or we forget about our dreams. That was such an important thing to us. If you forget about the dream then it never meant anything to you, if it means anything to you then come what may you will try your best to achieve it. So that’s what the film is about.”
Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and is slated to release on 15th September 2017.
