Lately, rumours claiming things being rocky between the B-town couple, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been all over the internet. The fire was fuelled when the couple was spotted arriving separately at the Ambani wedding as Aishwarya and the couple’s daughter Aaradhya arrived together while Abhishek came with the rest of the family. Moreover, Abhishek liking a post on divorce on Instagram made netizens speculate about an impending divorce.
As things have escalated, a video has been going viral with several media outlets claiming that the ‘Dhoom’ actor has broken his silence on the divorce rumours, slamming the speculations with the comment, “still married.” However, the video clip in question dates back to 2016 and Junior Bachchan hasn’t responded to the current speculations in any way.

In the video, Abhishek was asked if things weren’t well between the two after netizens sensed distance between the two during the ‘Sarbjit’ premiere. The film starred Aishwarya Rai in the lead role alongside Randeep Hooda. Responding to the question, Abhishek said, “I don’t have to say anything to you all about that. I think you all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. But I understand why you do it. You all have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. Still married, sorry.” The actor had also flaunted his wedding band as he addressed the concerns.

For the unversed, an online stir was created when Aishwarya and Aaradhya arrived separately for the studded Ambani wedding festivities while Abhishek arrived with Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda. Moreover, amid the ongoing rumours, Abhishek had also liked an Instagram post about divorce where the words “When love stops being easy” were scrawled across the post.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai tied the knot in 2007 and the couple welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, in November 2011. The duo has also shared the screen several times with films including ‘Guru,’ ‘Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke,’ ‘Kuch Naa Kaho,’ ‘Dhoom 2,’ and ‘Raavan’ among others.
