Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt titled Sanju is just a week away before it makes its way to the big screen and undoubtedly the film is one of the most-awaited films of 2018. Be it Ranbir Kapoor’s efforts get under the skin of the charater or the Dutt’s journey  in the industry, Sanju has everything to pull crowds to the cinema halls.

During the trailer launch of Sanju, Hirani shared that how he got a nod from Dutt himself for making a film on him. Hirani revealed that the film will not glorify Dutt at all. It is a film showcasing the true incidents of the actor’s life. Be it his drug phase or his relationship with a number of women, Sanju will indeed narrate even the minutest details of ‘Deadly Dutt’.

The vision of the iconic duo

Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra have given us some of the most iconic films like Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots and PK. Now, after four years, they are back again with Sanju. The vision behind the film is a message — learning from the mistakes of one man. Never get seduced by the dark side. Despite being one of the most controversial stars of all times, Dutt never lost his stardom and his fans still love him the same way they did back then. But as harsh as it can get, Dutt has always stated that why fans should never follow the path he chose and should always look upto his character like Munna Bhai rather than the characters of thugs and gangsters.

The ensemble cast

The film starring Ranbir in the titular role is supported by a number of actors. From Paresh Rawal to Manisha Koirala to Vicky Kaushal, Sanju has some very fine names attached to it. But the interesting element here is that all of these actors will be essaying the role of Dutt’s loved ones in the films. While it will be a reminiscing to watch Paresh Rawal and Koirala essaying the role of Dutt’s parents — Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt. Kaushal, Jim Sharabh, Dia Mirza and Sonam Kapoor’s performances are also what people are looking forward to.
