The box office is soon gearing up for repeating the history after the two films based on the life of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh clashed at the box office in 2002. This time, it will be a clash between two prematurely balding guys in films Bala and Ujda Chaman, respectively.

Ayushmann Khurrana will feature in Bala as the lead. The National-Award winning actor hit the bulls-eye with two of his films, Article 15 and Dream Girl.

Bala will see the actor play the role of a prematurely balding guy. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on November 22, however, the makers later announced that the film will release on November 15 to avoid a box office clash with Marjaavaan starring Siddharth Malhotra. After the announcement, the makers have further advanced the release by another week. The decision was taken after Marjaavaan, which was to release on November 8, was rescheduled by a week’s time. Now, Bala is slated to release on November 7.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle to share the news. He wrote, “New release date… #Bala to release on 7 Nov 2019… Trailer out today… Stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam… Directed by Amar Kaushik… Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios (sic).”

Meanwhile, Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman is scheduled to release on November 8. A remake of an acclaimed Kannada film Ondu Motteya Kathe, the film narrates the story of a man in his thirties who experiences premature balding and how he deals with societal connotations attached to it. Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the trailer was released some time ago and was loved for its idea and humour.

Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle to share another poster of Ujda Chaman. He wrote, “All set for 8 Nov 2019… New poster of #UjdaChaman… Stars Sunny Singh, Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja… Directed by Abhishek Pathak… Produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak (sic).”
