AR Rahman to compose music for ‘The Faul in our Stars’ Hindi remake

The latest from the Tinsel Town is an exciting news for all The Fault in our Stars fans, as music maestro AR Rahman has been roped in to compose the music for its upcoming remake.

The untitled remake is based on the 2014 Hollywood film The Fault in our Stars, which was based on the bestselling novel by the same name.

The film will be helmed by popular casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who will be making his debut as a director, and will star Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role.

The film has already started to develop with and the latest progression to the film is the addition of Oscar winner Rahman who will charm the fans with his blissful tunes.

On Thursday trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his Instagram account.

Rahman confirmed his collaboration with Chhabra to Mumbai Mirror by saying: “When I heard the narration of their Indian adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars and especially how music is so beautifully woven into the narrative, I got quite excited.”

The Fault in our Stars was a 2014 Hollywood film, which was a huge commercial and critical success and featured Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley in the lead roles.

The film will be directed by Chhabra and will hit floors after the finalisation of the female lead opposite Sushant.
