Renowned actor Anupam Kher gave fans a thrilling sneak peek into the upcoming live-action adaptation of the beloved animated series ‘Chhota Bheem.’ Directed by Rajiv Chilaka and produced by Rajiv and Megha Chilaka, this exciting project marks the first-ever live-action take on the iconic show.
Penned by Niraj Vikram and co-produced by Srinivas Chilakalapudi and Bharath Laxmipati, the film promises to transport audiences into the magical world of Dholakpur, where Bheem and his fearless companions embark on an epic adventure to confront the formidable Damyaan.
Taking to Instagram, Kher shared the teaser with a caption that reads, “#ChhotaBheem now on the big screen! Join Bheem and his brave friends as they stand against Damyaan to safeguard Dholakpur.”
Scheduled to hit cinemas on May 24, ‘Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan’ boasts a stellar cast, including the talented Makrand Deshpande and the promising Yagya Bhasin.
The announcement of this highly anticipated film was made last year in Mumbai, marking the celebration of 15 remarkable years of the cherished animation series.
In the live-action adaptation, Kher will portray the wise Guru Shambhu, while Deshpande takes on the role of Skandhi. Bringing the titular character to life is the gifted Yagya Bhasin, with Aashriya Mishra shining as Chutki. Surabhi Tiwari, known for her role in ‘Shagun,’ will grace the screen as Tuntun Mausi.
