Alia Bhatt has been high on the success of her latest film Raazi which is doing well at the box office. In the past few years, Alia has been doing some intense roles, such as in Highway, Dear Zindagi, Udta Punjab and now Raazi. Alia did justice to the characters and cemented her position in the Bollywood.
Alia has been working with female directors back to back, while Meghna Gulzar directed her in Raazi. Alia recently wrapped up Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy and she is all set to work with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari for a light-hearted film.

Alia Bhatt spoke to Hindustan Times in an interview and said, “I am definitely going to do a film with Ashwiny, because she is a fabulous director. Although it (the film) is sort of confirmed, I am not saying it myself, because there will be an official announcement soon. They (Ashwiny and the film’s makers) have brought an extremely fun concept to me. I am really excited, as that’s going to be my breakaway film from all the serious ones [that I am doing]. Ab main ek light-hearted film karne waali hoon.”

She further spoke about her life and Bollywood life, saying, “My life is a mixture of greys, blacks, blues and pinks. So, right now, I am covering all the spectrums of colour. But yes, some days are grey, while others are yellow, and that’s the way life is. But I am really happy with the stuff that I am doing.”
On the work front, she wrapped up Gully Boy in which she will be paired alongside Ranveer Singh for the first time on the silver screen and is slated for release on 14 February 2019.
