R Balki’s Pad Man, starring Akshay Kumar as the titular character, collected Rs 6.12 crore on February 13, taking the total collections of the film to Rs 52.04-crore.

Pad Man opened to a positive word of mouth and fared well on its opening day. But the film has marginally dropped on the first Monday and Tuesday, where the film collected in single digits after an impressive opening weekend.

Pad Man‘s first Monday and Tuesday collections are far less than Padmaavat and Tiger Zinda Hai, which passed the crucial first week test with flying colours.

Considering the fact that Pad Man is Akshay Kumar’s film, its box office timeline is not so impressive. And Pad Man needs to pick up the pace as soon as it can as former Aiyaary is all set to release this Friday after several delays in the release of the film.

Now after crossing the Rs 50-crore mark, it’ll be interesting to see that whether Pad Man will become the second Rs 100 crore film of 2018 and more importantly Akshay’s eighth consecutive Rs 100-crore film.

Pad Man is based on women menstruation and features Akshay in the lead role of a common man who wants to help women of his village by providing them sanitary pads for the basic hygiene at a low cost.

Directed by R Balki, Pad Man was released worldwide on February 9.
