Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy-starrer sports drama Gold continues its upward trend at the box office. The film has collected Rs 55 crore in four days of its release.
According to the Box Office India reports, despite its low business on Day 2, Akshay Kumar’s Gold has managed to collect Rs 12 crore on Day 4, taking the total earning to Rs. 55 crore.

On an opening day, the film collected Rs. 25.25 crore and added Rs. 8 crore on the second day.
Reema Kagti’s directorial is doing well and scoring over John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate, which released the same day (August 15) as Gold did.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, Akshay Kumar’s Gold and John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate both released on Independence Day. The films have managed to book a spot on the list of top five biggest openers this year.
