The filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who is known for films like Hero, Taal, Pardes, Saudagar, Karz and much more, turned 73 recently (24th January).
The leading actress of his film Taal, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, surprised the director by dropping at Ghai’s acting institute Whistling Woods to wish him on his special occasion.
The filmmaker was so elated that he shared the picture on Twitter and wrote, “How real friends surprise u is always a treat. So did my favorite star Aishwarya rai bachchan by her surprise presence on eve of my birthday in a surprise party by my team @Whistling_Woods @MuktaArtsLtd @MuktaA2Cinemas on 24 January She is always gracious indeed.”

On the work front, Aishwarya is currently busy with Atul Manjrekar’s Fanne Khan with actors Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. The film is produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra which is slated to release on June 15, 2018.
