The way Secret Superstar is creating a buzz at the China Box Office, it seems there is no ending for the movie here yet. The movie, which collected $17 million in just two days, surpassed the opening weekend collection of Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal, which earned $12 million.
The movie, which was released on January 19 in China, has destroyed all records held by previous Bollywood films released there.
This is Aamir’s fourth blockbuster at China’s Box Office after Dangal, PK, and 3 idiots. The story of the movie revolves around a 14-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a singer.
The film is about how she fulfills her dreams by keeping her identity hidden. Aamir has also been praised for his performance in a supporting role in the movie along with the movie’s lead actress.
