Addressing the first rally of SP-BSP-RLD alliance in Meerut, BSP chief Mayawati, overwhelmed to see a massive turnout, said that “BJP supporters will not say NaMo” after seeing such a huge turnout of people.

Taking on PM Narendra Modi over his “sarab” (meaning liquor) remark on the alliance in his Meerut rally, the BSP supremo called it an insult of alliance parties and their supporters. She appealed to the gathering to give “each and every vote to the alliance candidates and cause pain and grief to the BJP.”

Attacking both Congress and the BJP, Mayawati advised the public to shun both the national parties in the election as both have failed to deliver and didn’t do any welfare of the people of the state. She asked the people not to fall for the lucrative offers, adding that they should not believe in the promises made by them in their manifestos. She also cautioned them against relying on the pre-poll surveys carried out by different media houses.

She charged the BJP of misusing CBI, ED and other central agencies against other political parties and blamed the party for making hollow promises.

“Where is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, she questioned and added that the BSP believes in delivering on the ground and hence therefore didn’t release any manifesto.

In his address, Rashtriya Lok Dal Vice President and alliance candidate from Baghpat, Jayant Choudhary said that BJP is a habitual liar which wants power at any cost. He also criticized the ruling party for using crude language and spreading of hate in the name of religion which he said won’t survive the unity and power of the people of the country and the state. Jayant also attacked PM Modi over his ‘sarab’ remark and called it an insult to the alliance parties and their leaders.

He also targeted CM Yogi for accusing him of insulting the Jats. He said, “I believe in the ideology of Ch Charan Singh and those who follow him can’t even think of insulting anyone.”

Jayant appealed to the people to vote for the alliance candidates. BSPs Haji Yaqub Qureshi is the alliance candidate from Meerut-Hapur Lok Sabha seat.
