Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore has bagged the Silver medal in the veteran category at 28th All India GV Mavalankar Shooting championship held in the Madhya Pradesh shooting academy in Bhopal.
Congratulating the Governor for winning the silver in veterans category of trap event, the Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said in a tweet, “You (Badnore) have proved your excellent skills in the sport in your very first professional competition. All the best for future events.”

The Punjab sports minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi also congratulated the Governor on bagging the Silver medal.
Personally congratulating the Governor at Raj Bhawan, Rana Sodhi termed it as a stupendous achievement which would boost the sporting culture in the state thus inspiring budding sportspersons to aim for the sky.
Rana Sodhi also said that being a shooter himself, he understands fully the great significance this marvelous achievement holds.
