Two juveniles were detained on Saturday for allegedly gangraping a minor girl in Palampur area of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, around 220 km from here.

Talking to media,  Kangra Superintendent of Police Santosh Patial said two accused, both juveniles, were detained for gangraping the 15-year-old girl on Friday.

“Three accused are still absconding and efforts are being made to nab them at the earliest,” he said, adding medical tests would be conducted on the accused to ascertain their age.

The minor girl, who was studying in Class 11, was allegedly gangraped by five youths on her way back home from a temple.
