Three foreign tourists rescued from Chamoli

Chamoli police team with rescued foreign tourists.


The Chamoli Police rescued three foreign trekkers, who had lost their way for Badrinath, near Patudi village on Friday night.

Two Russian and one Ukrainian tourist were saved by conducting a special operation.

The police received information from villagers about witnessing some light and movement on the mountain near Patudi village, which mostly remains deserted. Chamoli Police’s sub inspector Hemdutt Bhardwaj and his team decided to check out the matter.

On reaching the spot, the cops found three foreign tourists who had lost their way. Dimitri Paltov, Agnes Sokolova and Alexander Martino were rescued and brought to a safer location.
