Delhi Metro’s Blue line services (Dwarka sector 21-Noida City Centre/Vaishali) were affected for around 30 minutes on Wednesday.

According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporations (DMRC), The train service was affected due to signalling issues at two interlocking stations.

“Due to signalling issue at interlocking stations of Subhash Nagar and Rajouri Garden of Line-3, train IDs were lost around 12.30 p.m. for trains falling in this zone, resulting in delays as they were locally controlled,” a senior Metro official said.

In a statement, DMRC officials said, Central control for these two interlocking stations was restored at 1 p.m. and trains are now being regularised as per normal IDs.

The issue has been rectified and services are getting restored to normal movement, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said.
