Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia held a crucial party meeting with the party’s MLA on Monday to discuss the strategy to be employed for the upcoming assembly elections in the national capital.

The meeting was attended by several senior leaders including Sunita Kejriwal, wife of CM Kejriwal, MP Sandeep Pathak, Delhi Convenor Gopal Rai, Ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Imran Hussain.

After the meeting at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence concluded, AAP MP Sandeep Pathak said, “All the MLAs had come and assured that they will contest the elections with complete strength. We will show it to the BJP that breaking a party is not going to bring any gains. AAP will rise with more power than ever”.

Pathak further said the party would begin the Padyatra on August 14 because people want to meet Manish Sisodia after he was released on bail. He also alleged that even after so many attempts by the BJP, development works in Delhi are going on whether we talk about water and electricity supply, schools, hospitals and mohalla clinics, everything is functional.

Minister Gopal Rai asserted that the agenda of the meeting was to make strategies for the forthcoming assembly elections. Additionally, he stated that Sunita Kejriwal is delivering Arvind Kejriwal’s message to voters and we will also deliver the same to the voters.

Earlier on Sunday, ahead of the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, Sisodia held an important meeting with senior party leaders at his residence. Further, it was revealed that Sisodia will hold a ‘padyatra’ on August 14, during which he will also interact with the people of the national capital.
