Haryana Police has busted a prostitution racket operating from a spa centre in Gurugram and arrested eight persons including six women and two men.
A spokesperson of the Police Department said that police had received an information that a sex racket was operating at a spa centre, namely ’03 Days SPA’ at Sector 5, Gurugram.
He said that acting swiftly on the information, the police sent persons acting as decoy customers to the spa centre where they found men and women in objectionable condition.
The Police arrested the accused and case has been registered against them under various sections of the Immoral Trafficking Act, he added.
This is not the first time when such a high-profile sex racket has been busted in the Cyber City of Haryana as in December 2017, a high-profile sex racket operating from Sector 39 was busted by the Haryana Police by arresting a total 16 persons including twelve girls and four boys.
Earlier on 10 December, the district police had uncovered an illegal sex racket that was being run in a spa of a renowned mall in Sector 53. Six women, including two foreigners, and a man was also arrested from the spot.
Prior to which, the police also busted sex rackets in the city.
