Mobile phone in pocket protects man from bullet injury in West Delhi

In a shocking incident, a mobile phone in the pocket saved a man in West Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh by deflecting a bullet fired at him during a brawl in his neighborhood.

According to the police, a woman, Shanti, visited his neighbour, along with his son Arjun and a relative to resolve a dispute. However, an altercation ensued between the two parties that escalated into a full-blown fisticuff. In the ensuing melee, the guests were badly beaten up by their hosts, Satnam, Ritik, and others.

As tempers soared Arjun whipped out a pistol and opened fire. A bullet hit Ritik in his thigh, but thanks to the mobile phone in his pocket, he was saved from injury.

After the incident, a police team arrived on the spot, registered two separate cases, and arrested all of them people for their involvement in the brawl.
