A militant hideout was busted on Saturday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir by security forces and a cache of arms and ammunition seized, official sources said.
"Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Rashtriya Rifles and state police launched a search in Kalakote tehsil and busted the hideout," Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
The cache seized from the forested area near Sadah village included one AK-47 assault rifle, one AK-56 rifle, one Chinese pistol, two rocket-propelled grenades, five hand grenades, two magazines and 639 rounds.
It is the second seizure of arms and ammunition by the Army in two days, he said.
