The Delhi Police has registered two FIRs against a person and his family in connection with alleged misbehaviour with a woman and obstructing a public servant from discharging his duty.
According to police, on Wednesday night there was a call regarding an incident of misbehaviour with a woman where a person first allegedly hurled a water balloon and after the woman’s objection, slapped her and also followed her till her house while verbally abusing her.
This entire incident took place in Arya Pura in North Delhi.
In response to the call, the police staff reached the spot and caught the alleged person identified as Kapil, but the accused person’s family opposed the police and surrounded the
cops, not allowing them to take the accused with them.
Later, the area Station House Officer (SHO) also reached the spot and the overall situation was brough under control at the Arya Pura.
The medical examination of the police personnel was done and later a General Diary entry was also made in this regard, the police said.
The statement of the police head constable was recorded and a FIR under relevant sections was registered in the incident.
Meanwhile, a day ago Police had reportedly apprehended two minors for throwing water balloons from their moving vehicles at the people walking in South West Delhi.
A video of the act had surfaced on the social media which led the police to them, while later it was revealed they did it for fun.
