Two persons were on Sunday killed and 12 others injured after a state-run bus rammed into a stationary tipper in Mouda tehsil in Nagpur district of Maharashtra, police said.
The mishap occurred at around 12 PM when the bus of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation was heading to Katangi from Nagpur, said Assistant Sub-Inspector of Nagpur Police’s Rural Control Room Ashok Shirbate.
The bus rammed into the tipper. The bus driver Hemant Kapse (30), a resident of Gondia and a passenger Indusan Thackrey (63) were killed in the mishap, he said, adding the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
