Kejriwal takes part in bhandaras to mark Ram Lalla’s consecration


Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday took part in the bhandaras organized in various parts of the city on the auspicious occasion of the Prant Pratistha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

“Today, on the occasion of Pran Pratistha, I participated in the bhandaras organized in different areas of Delhi,” he wrote in a post on X.

Kejriwal, who is also the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), along with the post also attached a few photographs in which he can be seen taking part in the bhandaras.

The Chief Minister also congratulated and extended his best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion.

“Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all of you on this sacred occasion. Jai Siya Ram,” he wrote in another post on the micro-blogging site.

The AAP on Monday organized bhandaras throughout the national capital to commemorate Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha.

On Sunday, the Chief Minister participated in the ongoing 9-day long ‘Ramkatha’ in Kidwai Nagar area under his Assembly constituency – New Delhi.

Kejriwal performed ‘puja’ and offered prayer to Lord Ram. He wished Delhiites peace, prosperity, and development.

Later at a programme, the Chief Minister said the AAP is trying to run the government in Delhi by taking inspiration from the concept of Ram Rajya.

“We are trying to run our government in Delhi by taking inspiration from the concept of Ram Rajya. We have decided that no one should sleep hungry in Delhi. Everyone should get proper ration. If someone is poor, then he is given free ration. We have made night shelters for the homeless people where they can stay, and food is also provided free of cost to them,” he said.
