Haryana Staff Selection Commission members get extension

Haryana government has extended the term of appointment of five members of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) from 24 March, 2018 to 11 July, 2019 or attaining the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

An official spokesperson said that a notification extending the term of appointment of five members of the Commission has been issued in this regard by the General Administration Department. The members include Neelam Awasthi of Panchkula, Devender Singh of Mahendragarh, Amar Nath Sauda of Karnal, Bhopal Singh of Yamunanagar and Vijay Pal Singh of Jind.

Notably, the state government on 7 March had already extended the term of HSSC chairman BB Bharti for three years from 24 March, 2018 or attaining the age of 68 years, whichever is earlier.
