Teenager stabbed to death in a West Delhi park, 3 juveniles apprehended

A fifteen-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by three juveniles at a public park in West Delhi’s Inderpuri area, the police said on Thursday.

The incident took place on Tuesday night at around 9 pm when the five boys were in the Harit Park of Inderpuri where two friends, including the deceased, had an altercation with three other boys, following which the three allegedly attacked the two friends using knives.

The deceased, who sustained injuries on chest and abdomen, was rushed to a hospital in the nearby area of Naraina, where the doctors declared him brought dead.

The minor was a resident of Inderpuri, West Delhi.

A case of murder was registered in the incident at the Inderpuri Police Station and a team of eight police personnel was constituted to probe the incident.

A police team gathered intel and also took help of technical surveillance, and the three juveniles were zeroed down by the police.

All three accused in the case were apprehended in this connection and further actions as per law are being taken in the case. The police have recovered the weapon used in the crime, while the boys involved in the incident were apprehended within 12 hours of the incident, the police added.
