Railway over bridge at Khera Kalan to save 2000 families from being displaced: Delhi BJP chief

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Monday said that 2000 families were saved from losing roofs over their heads with the arrangement made by the Railways in the form of a rail overbridge at Khera Kalan village in the national capital.

The works for this project was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday virtually as part of Amrit Bharat station scheme which includes re- development of the 554 railway stations and laying foundation of the 1500 new under passes and over bridges.

MP Hansraj Hans and Sachdeva were present at the Khera Kalan village where they heard PM Modi’s address on the occasion through video conferencing.

Sachdeva informed that a new railway is to be laid between Delhi and Amritsar which could have affected around 200 families who would lose their homes, therefore the Delhi BJP reached out to the LG and the Union Railway Minister.

He further informed that after the alternative solution in the form of the over bridge has saved the homes of these families, the foundation stone of the same was laid by PM through video conferencing here.

Sachdeva further addressing the people after the laying of the foundation stone at the railway crossing accused the Delhi government of not implementing the Centre’s schemes and further alleged that fake medical reports were being generated through fake mobile numbers and names.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP MP Hansraj Hans said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working for the progress of the people and has also made Ram Mandir’s dream come true.
