Kejriwal to attend Ram Lila ahead of Ram Lalla’s consecration

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced that he will attend the Ram Leela program organised by the Delhi government on Sunday, and has asked the people also to join him on the occasion.

Taking to X, he said: “I will go for Ramlila tomorrow on Sunday. You should also take out time and go with your family.”

Ahead of the Ram temple consecration ceremony on January 22, the Delhi government began a three-day Ram Lila on Saturday, which will continue till Monday.

Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj and Atishi attended the event at the Pyarelal Auditorium near ITO that was presented by the Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra.

Bharadwaj said that the event is free for the people this time, which was earlier organised by the Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra on a private basis.

The AAP has claimed that the Central government had not given permission to organize the same at the Bharat Mandapam.

Delhi Minister Atishi, who was also attending the event on Saturday. said that every year we all witness the Ram Lila but the same will only be successful when all the teachings from the life of Lord Ram will be incorporated in our lives.
