Juvenile held for burglary committed in the same house twice in 3 days

A juvenile has been apprehended by a team of southern range, Crime Branch in a case of burglary. The boy is accused of committing burglary twice in the same house, located in Defence Colony of South Delhi, in three days.

Special Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch), Ravindra Singh Yadav said stolen antique coins from the house have been recovered, along with stolen I-Pad, I-Phone, tabs, and mobile phones.

According to the police, one, Aman Raj Khanna, had lodged a complaint with Defence Colony police station that a theft took place in his house E-1, 2nd Floor, Defence Colony in the intervening night of December 10 and 11 and on the intervening night of December 13 and 14.

Two different cases were lodged against each incident of burglary and investigation was taken up.

Considering the gravity of offence, a team composed of Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajesh Baisoya, Viju Mon, Head-Constable Arvind, Sonvir, Charan Singh, Constable Vipin Kumar and Karanvir under the leadership of Inspector Vijay Pal Dahiya was constituted.

During the investigation the team of the Crime Branch succeeded in apprehending the juvenile, who resides in the Garhi area. He disclosed that he along with his associate committed the theft and distributed the stolen items.

The police are now searching for a co-accused, who is at large.
