The Delhi Management Association and Thomas Assessments together conducted the 11th National HR Conclave with an objective to enhance awareness of unique talent management initiatives that helped organisations achieve success.
On the occasion, the 5th DMA Thomas International awards for excellence in talent management were given away.
The theme of the conclave was “VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) to BANI (brittle, anxious, non-linear and incomprehensive) – The Great Reset at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 14 December 2022. It covered cutting-edge practices in recruitment, on-boarding, engagement, competency based assessment development centres, performance management, coaching and mentoring, action learning, experiential learning, gamification and other human resources (HR) areas.
Giving an overview, Dr. Yogesh Misra, President, DMA and Vice-President Thomas Assessments Ltd. stated that from a world where we used to say the only thing constant is change, we have moved to a world where the only thing constant is disruption.
The last two years, he pointed out, have taught us one thing that things can suddenly get completely disrupted and change faster than shifting sands. These changes have led to BANI. In order to deal with BANI, companies changed their core businesses and brands value proposition.
This brings enormous challenges (and opportunities!) for HR to reinvent its role and create future ready organization. The role of HR is to ensure that the organisation is nimble and quick to respond to the changing paradigms by Recruiting, Retaining, Developing and managing the workforce.
The programme structure was designed to be highly interactive which involved sharing of best practices by business and HR Leaders from highly successful organisations. Panel discussions followed by questions & answers will strengthen the learning.
Thomas Assessments will provide insights from its latest research in the area of high potential and impact of competency-based HR processes on business results.
