Foggy Friday morning in Delhi, 12 trains cancelled

It was a foggy morning here on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 7.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average.

The visibility further reduced to 600 metres from 700 metres recorded on Thursday, an India Meteorological Department official said. The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 19 degrees Celsius.

“While shallow fog was observed in the morning, it will be a mainly clear sky in the day ahead,” he said.

Around 12 trains were cancelled, 25 delayed and two rescheduled due to fog in the northern region.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 94 per cent.

Thursday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average, and the maximum temperature settled at 19.1 degrees Celsius, four notches below the average.
