The Delhi Government is going to build a 4-storey Dr BR Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence (SoSE) with 160 rooms and equipped with modern facilities, in Sunder Nagari.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and local MLA Rajendra Pal Gautam laid its foundation stone on Monday.
Sisodia said: “A new flame of education will be ignited in Sunder Nagri with the laying of this foundation for a new school. Now that the government has got the land freed from the clutches of the land mafia, a magnificent school will be constructed here for the children.”
“This new school will set a new revolution. I have full faith that the school whose foundation is being laid with a revolution, the children coming out of this school will surely bring a revolution in the progress of the country,” said Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia.
The Delhi Deputy Chief Minister said the construction of the school will be completed by December. Till now people used to say that government schools cannot be developed, but CM Arvind Kejriwal made government schools world-class, he said.
The Delhi Deputy Chief Minister said school construction will be completed by the end of this year and the admission will start here from the new session.
“The dream to provide education to every child irrespective of background, which was seen by Baba Saheb Ambedkar is being turned into reality by CM Arvind Kejriwal,” Sisodia said.
