Sanjeevan Hospital, a leading health facility in the heart of Delhi, announced inauguration of a state-of-the-art Coronary CT Angiography facility with advance CT MPI facility.
The CT Angiography facility, while being the first of its kind in the wallled city area, contains the feature of cat scan-based Stress Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (CT MPI), which is the first in the city of Delhi to ensure patients have access to the most advanced diagnostic tools for cardiac evaluation.
Stress myocardial perfusion CT (MPICT) is performed by acquiring a series of CT images after injection of a bolus of contrast medium during pharmacological hyperemia, similar to perfusion imaging technique by MRI or PET.
The inaugural ceremony was done by the presence of distinguished IPS Officer Robin Hibu.
Several important dignitiries and doctors including Dr Girish Tyagi, Registrar Delhi Medical Council, Dr Arun Gupta, President Delhi Medical council, Dr Ashwini Dalmiya, President Delhi Medical Association, Senior cardioogist Dr VK Trehan, Senior CTVS surgeon Padmashri Dr GK Mani and many more were present at the occasion.
