A video has surfaced on social media in which two Delhi traffic police personnel can be seen dragging a man after allegedly thrashing him, while he seems to be in an unconscious state, near Patel Nagar Metro Station in national capital on Thursday.

As per media reports, the man along with a female pillion rider was travelling in the wrong direction of the road sans helmet and were stopped by the traffic police personnel for violating the traffic laws.

However, an argument ensued between the traffic cops and the biker regarding the issuance of the challan.

In the video, the biker can be seen being chased by the cops and later being dragged by them towards his two-wheeler, resulting in an heated argument with the female pillion rider.

In its response to the video and the incident, the Delhi Traffic Police has said that the video is incomplete and the  incident flared-up after the biker slapped a traffic cop. They added that they had to resort to any tactic possible because the commuter was violent.
