Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Monday slammed the Arvind Kejriwal for waterlogging in the national capital in the ongoing Monsoon season and deaths due to rain related incidents.

He said, “Manish Sisodia is meeting with his MLAs and councilors to activate them for the elections. It would have been better if he had asked his fellow representatives why basic civic maintenance in Delhi is paralysed and why corruption is rampant everywhere.”

“The reality is that whether it is Arvind Kejriwal, accused in corruption scandals, or Manish Sisodia, both are unable to question their MLAs and councilors on administrative disorder and corruption because they need their support to stay in power. They are allowing them to loot as they please in exchange,” Sachdeva said.

Attacking Sisodia, the Delhi BJP chief said, “According to media reports, Manish Sisodia will be going among the people in the coming days through a padyatra, but we fail to understand how he will face the people. Wherever Manish Sisodia goes during his padyatra, people will question him about his scams, from the Pathshala class room scam to the Madhushala liquor policy scam, but he will not be able to answer.”

Sachdeva further said, “When Manish Sisodia goes among the public, he will also have to answer for the unexpected waterlogging crisis this monsoon, and the 32 deaths caused by waterlogging and electric shocks so far.”

The Delhi BJP chief added, “Wherever Manish Sisodia goes, he will have to answer tough questions from local citizens, trade organizations, and BJP workers.”
