Balasore district headquarter hospital which is being upgraded to cater to the stipulations of a government medical college and hospital has opened a dialysis as well as a CT scan facilities along with hi-tech laboratory in its campus.
All these units, established under PPP mode have became operational since on Sunday. The patients can now avail services of these facilities free of cost said the district collector Ramesh Rout adding it was a long standing demand as well as requirement of a modern hospital.
The CDMO, Bibekanda Das informed that the dialysis unit has 7 beds. “ The DHH is now having CT scan, dialysis and an integrated hi-tech laboratory in its campus. The establishment of MRI unit is in progress. The building is handed over to the private party who would be installing the machine under PPP mode,” said Das.
