An MiG-23 helicopter of Indian Army reportedly crashed in Balesar of Jodhpur district in Rajasthan on Thursday. As per reports, both the pilots ejected safely.

This is the second helicopter crash within a week as on June 4, an Indian Air Force helicopter went missing. Later, its debris was found in a ravine in Arunachal on Wednesday during a search operation launched by the army, Indo Tibetan Border Police and the police.

Earlier on May 23, a Sukhoi-30 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) with two pilots on board went missing from near the Indo-China border in Assam on Tuesday morning. The fighter jet that took off from the IAF’s Tezpur air base, 172 km from Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh, was on a routine training mission. Later its debris was found in a forest area in Assam.
