Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, visited the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp 2025 at Delhi Cantt, on Wednesday. During his visit, he spoke to the cadets about the core values instilled in them during their training, including discipline, selfless service, nation-building, and adherence to a strong code of conduct. He encouraged the cadets to carry these values with them throughout their lives, urging them to live by the NCC motto of ‘Unity and Discipline’, both in uniform and beyond.
The Air Chief highlighted the unique opportunity the NCC Republic Day Camp provides for cadets to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, strengthening the ‘Unity in Diversity’ spirit of India. He commended the cadets for their impressive and engaging performances during the camp.
The CAS reviewed the ‘Guard of Honour’ presented by cadets from the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NCC, followed by a band display by the cadets of Scindia School, Gwalior. He also inspected the ‘Flag Area’, where cadets from all 17 NCC Directorates showcased various social awareness themes.
Additionally, Air Chief Marshal Singh visited the ‘Hall of Fame’, where he was briefed on the history, training, and achievements of the NCC. To conclude his visit, he joined other distinguished guests to witness a vibrant ‘Cultural Programme’ performed by the cadets, who presented India’s rich cultural heritage through ballet, group dance, and songs.
