2 minor boys died of suffocation after being locked in car in Delhi

Two minors boys died of suffocation after accidentally getting locked inside a car in New Delhi.

According to media reports, the boys aged four and five, were playing in a car owned by their family, which was parked near their house.

The owner of the car, a taxi driver, locked the vehicle through central locking, unaware of the presence of children inside the car, said media reports.

After a few hours, when the family members became aware of their absence, they rushed to the police station to file a complaint.

The unconscious children were discovered in the car and were taken to the hospital.

Police said that boys were then rushed to a hospital, but were declared as ‘brought dead. The post-mortem report confirmed that the children died due to suffocation.
