MG unveils the Next-Gen Hector with Autonomous Level 2 Technology in India

Global car manufacturer MG Motor India presented the “next-gen Hector” SUV on Monday. In order to provide complete peace of mind, safety, and comfort.

This time the next-gen Hector offers autonomous Level 2 technology and 11 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including traffic jam assist (TJA) and auto turn indicators.

The new SUV offers a better driving and user experience than its predecessor thanks to its all-new exterior and interior styling, advanced safety features, and exquisite design cues.

According to MG, the new Hectors offers intelligently planned seating options, sumptuous interiors, and plenty of room. It is available in 5-, 6-, and 7-seater configurations with dual-tone argil brown and black interiors.

And it also includes a first-in-segment digital Bluetooth key with a key-sharing feature and a 14-inch HD Portrait infotainment system. With that system, you can also operate the sunroof. Also, there is an additional voice command feature added.

According to the manufacturer, other important safety features of the Next-Gen Hector include six airbags, a 360-degree HD camera, an electronic stability programme (ESP), a traction control system (TCS), hill assist control (HAC), four-wheel disc brakes on all four wheels, a 3-point seat belt for every seat, an electric parking brake (EPB), and front parking sensors.

MG has not yet announced the price of this next-generation Hector, but it is anticipated that the company will reveal that in the coming days at the Indian Auto Expo 2023.
