The key Indian equity market indices, which opened lower on Wednesday, are trading in green.
The Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the BSE, which had closed at 34,771.05 points on Tuesday, opened lower at 34,753.80 points. It was quoting at 34,830.93 points, up by 59.88 points, or 0.17 per cent in the early session.
At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the broader 51-scrip Nifty was trading at 10,707.90 points, up by 7.45 points or 0.07 per cent.
Breaking a three-day streak of record closing highs, the two Indian equity indices on Tuesday ended the day in the negative zone with heavy selling pressure in almost all the sectors, except the IT and Teck (technology, media and entertainment) indices.
